"In England, 1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem in any given week. In particular, universities are confronting a rise in student anxiety, mental breakdowns and depression. The Great Teapression acts as a platform to promote the understanding of mental health concerns amongst the student community. 

Our goal is simple, we believe there is a thirst for students to raise awareness of mental health and this can be done through drinking cups of tea… Afterall, we are a nation of tea drinkers and who doesn't love a cuppa?! We believe something as simple as a cup of tea, has the ability to change someone’s day and alter a person's mood. With the use of indirect marketing channels such as Facebook and Instagram, as well as, a dedicated website, we will help spread awareness of mental health concerns for students through the sale of tea mugs and tote bags. The Great Teapression is a way to raise awareness of student mental health troubles and with the sale of every mug and tote bag, we will donate the remainder of our profit to charities supporting this cause, such as student minds."


Everybody loves a cup of tea! This love for tea can be shared with others or simply enjoyed on your own. When we make a cup of tea for someone, we do it with care and compassion... I created the brand guidelines, logo, mug & tote bag designs and social media content with these factors in mind in order to symbolise the simple love that a cup of tea can provide!
